Pharaohs and their people believed that Yusuf (Joseph) (pbuh) was the last messenger of Allah

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be from Allah upon all his prophets and their pure righteous people and upon all who followed their guidance until the day of judgment. We make no distinction between one another of his messengers and we follow Allah's religion of Islamic monotheism.

My dear readers who follow Allah's way, we judge between people who differed regarding the claimed prophecy of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob), only following Allah's judgment.
In The Holy Book of Allah (The Holy Qur'an) I do not find that Allah chose any of the offspring of Yaqub (Jacob) to be a Messenger but Yusuf (peace be upon him).

Seeing that Allah did not select any of them after Yusuf (Joseph) (pbuh) died, pharaohs and their people believed Yusuf (pbuh) to be the last messenger from Allah, the Lord of all that exists.

For that Allah said:
And indeed Yusuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with the clear signs, but you ceased not
to doubt in that which he did bring to you: till when he died you said: ''No Messenger will Allah send after him''. Thus Allah leaves astray him who is Musrif (a polytheist, an oppressor, a criminal, sinner who commit great sins) and a Murtab (one who doubts Allah's Warning and His Oneness) ))) (34)(Surah40-Verse34

From this Verse (Ayah) we derive the following:
The fact that Allah sent his prophets consecutively; as the ancestors prior to prophet Yusuf (Joseph): [prophet Yusuf (Joseph) son of prophet Ya'qub (Jacob) son of prophet Ishaq (Isaac) son of prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) peace be upon all of them], in addition to the fact that time came when Yusuf (Joseph) and all his brothers were dead and none of his brothers or their offspring was chosen by Allah to be a prophet, the people of pharaoh thought that the last prophet from Allah was Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) pbuh.

For that, Allah mentioned what the believing man from pharaoh's family, who hid his faith, told the pharaoh in the time of prophet Musa (Moses) :
And indeed Yusuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with the clear signs, but you ceased not to doubt in that which he did bring to you: till when he died you said: ''No Messenger will Allah send after him''. Thus Allah leaves astray him who is Musrif (a polytheist, an oppressor, a criminal, sinner who commit great sins) and a Murtab (one who doubts Allah's Warning and His Oneness) (34)
Those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations) of Allah, without any authority that has come to them, it is greatly hateful and disgusting to Allah and those who believe. Thus does Allah seal up the heart of every arrogant, tyrant. (So they cannot guide themselves to the right path).))) (35)
(Surah40: Verse34-35)

{وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا جَاءَكُم بِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ اللَّـهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ رَ‌سُولًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّـهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِ‌فٌ مُّرْ‌تَابٌ ﴿34﴾ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّـهِ بِغَيْرِ‌ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ ۖ كَبُرَ‌ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّـهِ وَعِندَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّـهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ‌ جَبَّارٍ‌ ﴿35﴾}

So be not like those who dispute about the revelations (verses) of Allah without any authority given to them from their Lord

Regarding the mentioning of Al-Asbat (the three prophet brothers) with the prophets who are sons of Ibrahim (Abraham), it was because people of Israel wrongly thought that the honored people of the Cave are from the people of Israel

How astonishing how much they did argue and talk about them, their ancestors and their number without knowledge revealed to them from Allah but only guessing the unseen and following suspicion

For that Allah said:
(((Some will say they are three, their dog being the fourth among them; and (others) say they are five, their dog being the sixth guessing the unseen; (yet others) say they are seven, their dog being the eighth. Say (O Mohammad) : ''My Lord knows best their number, He Does not know them but to be a few''. So debate not (about their number) except with the clear proof. And consult not any of them (people of Scripture – Jews and Christians) about (the affair of) the people of the Cave.))) (22)
(Surah18: verse22)
{ سَيقُولُونَ ثلاثةٌ رَابعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا مِرَاء ظَاهِرًا وَلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا}

So because the people of Scripture wrongly thought that the people of the Cave were from the offspring of Israel (Jacob), and because of disputing about the people of the Cave guessing the unseen without knowledge and authority from Allah, Allah said
(((…So debate not (about their number) except with the clear proof. And consult not any of them )))
{… فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا مِرَاء ظَاهِرًا وَلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا}

:But Allah, Glory be to Him only, said
(((Say (O Mohammad) : 'My Lord knows best their number, He knows them to be a few'. So debate not (about their number) except with the clear proof. And consult not any of them. )))
{قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا مِرَاء ظَاهِرًا وَلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا}

Therefore, the reason for mentioning Al-Asbat (the three Messenger brothers) with the prophets who are the sons of Ibrahim (Abraham) is because the former are themselves the people of the Cave who the people of Scripture argue about

:For that Allah said
(((Or say you that Ibrahim (Abraham) , Isma-il (Ishmael) , Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat (the three Messenger brothers) were Jews or Christians? Say, ''Do you know better or does Allah (know better… that they all were Muslims)? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do" )))
(Surah1: Verse 140)
{أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى قُلْ أَأَنْتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ اللَّهُ}

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists. And peace be upon all his Messengers

ـــــــــــــــــــــــــ ــــــــــــــ

O blessed servant of Allah, I see your interpretation of The Book (The Holy Qur'an) is, like the interpretation of most scholars, based on nothing but conjecture, certainly conjecture can be of no avail against the truth. That is because you quote a verse from the Holy Qur'an and interpretate it the way you guess might be correct without authority from Allah, The Lord of all exists. How could you give such legal verdict of extra eleven prophets that Allah did not give us knowledge about in the entirely clear verses of Qur'an

Believing in prophets of Allah is one of the pillars of our faith so be not like those who gave such legal verdict that Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) pbuh was the last prophet although Allah gave them no authority to say that

That is where the time came when Yusuf (Joseph) and all his brothers were dead and none was chosen by Allah to be a prophet, the earlier of pharaoh people thought that no prophet after Yusuf (Joseph) pbuh will come based on the fact that Allah did not chose any of Jacob's sons to be a prophet

And indeed Yusuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with the clear signs, but you ceased not to doubt in that which he did bring to you: till when he died you said: ''No Messenger will Allah send after him''
(Surah40-Verse 34)

O servant of Allah, in order that there should be no difficulty for you to continue your argument , if you can, try to bring us a stronger evidence than ours to prove that eleven prophets were sent so that we believe in them as it is a basic part of faith to believe in all prophets

No evidence to that can be found in The Holy Book of Allah nor in the teachings of his prophet Mohammad (pbuh) but only pure guessing by some interpolators of the Holy Qur'an who say what they have no knowledge from Allah about

:That was only because of what Allah said in this verse
Say (O Muslims) : ''we believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma-il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus) and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)'' (Surah 1-Verse 136
{قُولُوا آَمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ}

So they thought that interpretation of the word (Al-Asbat) was the offspring of Yaqub (Jacob). And that was because they know not about the three Asbat brothers who were messengers whose names Allah did not mention in their story but kept their story anonymous as well as for the names of their people and towns like in the story of the people of the Cave

؟ Where did Allah mention their names, the name of their people and their towns

:For that Allah said
(((And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Mohammad) some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their stories and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah but when come the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will then be lost.)))
(surah40- verse 78)
{وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ}

Allah did not relate the story of the three Messenger brothers with their names but commanded you to believe in their Message until the time comes when He reveals their secret to you

:For that Allah said
Verily, We have sent the revelation to you (O Mohammad) as We sent the revelation to Nuh (Noah) and the prophets after him; Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma-il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat (the three messenger brothers), Isa (Jesus), Ayyub (Job), Yunus (Jonah) , Harun (Aaron) , and Sulaiman (Solomon) , and to Dawud (David) We gave the Zabur (Psalms) (163
And Messengers We related to you before and Messengers We have not related to you.- and to Musa Moses) Allah spoke directly. (164)
Messengers as bearers of good news as well as warning in order that mankind has no plea against Allah after the (coming of) Messengers. And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All Wise.))) (165
(Surah 4 – Verses 163-165)

{إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَ‌اهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُ‌ونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورً‌ا ﴿163﴾ وَرُ‌سُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَرُ‌سُلًا لَّمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ ۚ وَكَلَّمَ اللَّـهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا 164﴾ رُّ‌سُلًا مُّبَشِّرِ‌ينَ وَمُنذِرِ‌ينَ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى اللَّـهِ حُجَّةٌ بَعْدَ الرُّ‌سُلِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا ﴿165﴾}

:See what Allah said
(((And Messengers We mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you)))
{وَرُسُلاً لَّمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ وَكَلَّمَ اللّهُ مُوسَى تَكْلِيمًا}

Then who are those Messengers that Allah did not mention their story with their names? They are the three Asbat who were commanded by Allah to deliver one Message. Although Allah told about their story in The Holy Qur'an but he did not mention their names but made the story anonymous; no names of the Messengers, no name of their town, no name of their people, and no name for the man who believed them, but kept it anonymous so that no one knows about their affair but only the man who Allah made them his ministers, Al-Mahdi (The Guided One), for you to believe if you have faith with no doubt

So if you deep think of the story of the three Messengers you will find out that Allah mentioned none of their names in the their story: Allah said
((( And put forward to them a similitude: the (story of the) dwellers of the town, when there came Messengers to them (13
When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: ''Verily we have been sent to you as Messengers''. (14
They (people of the town) said: ''You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Most Gracious Allah has revealed nothing. You are only telling lies.(15
The Messengers said: ''Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you as Messengers''. (16)
And our duty is only to convey plainly (The Message). (17)
They (people of the town) said: 'For us, we see an evil omen from you: if you cease not, we will surely stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us''. (18
They (the Messengers) said ''your evil omen be with you! (do you call it ''evil omen'?') because you are admonished. Nay, but you are a people Musrifoon ( people who are transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allah)''. (19
And there came a man running from the farthest part of the town. He said: ''O my people! Obey the Messengers of Allah'' (20)
Obey those who ask no wages of you (for themselves), and who are rightly guided''. (21)
And why should I not worship the One who has created me (Allah Alone) and to Whom you shall be returned.'' (22
Shall I take beside Him gods? If The Most Gracious intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me.'' (23
''Then verily I should be in plain error''. (24)
''Verily! (O Messengers) I have believed in your Lord. So listen to me (my people) '' (25)
It was said to (him when the disbelievers killed him): ''Enter Paradise''. He said: ''would that my people knew (25
That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me and made me one of the honoured ones''. (26)
And We send not against his people after him a host from the heaven, nor was it needful for Us to send (such a thing). (27
It was but on Saiha (Shout/Blast) and lo! They (all) were still (silent, dead, destroyed). (28)
(Surah 36- Verses: 13-28)

{وَاضْرِ‌بْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْ‌يَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْ‌سَلُونَ ﴿13﴾ إِذْ أَرْ‌سَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْ‌سَلُونَ ﴿14﴾ قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ‌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّ‌حْمَـٰنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ ﴿15﴾ قَالُوا رَ‌بُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْ‌سَلُونَ ﴿16﴾ وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ ﴿17﴾ قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْ‌نَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْ‌جُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿18﴾ قَالُوا طَائِرُ‌كُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْ‌تُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِ‌فُونَ ﴿19﴾ وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَ‌جُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْ‌سَلِينَ ﴿20﴾ اتَّبِعُوا مَن لَّا يَسْأَلُكُمْ أَجْرً‌ا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ ﴿21﴾ وَمَا لِيَ لَا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَ‌نِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْ‌جَعُونَ ﴿22﴾ أَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن يُرِ‌دْنِ الرَّ‌حْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّ‌ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ ﴿23﴾ إِنِّي إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿24﴾ إِنِّي آمَنتُ بِرَ‌بِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ ﴿25﴾ قِيلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿26﴾ بِمَا غَفَرَ‌ لِي رَ‌بِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُكْرَ‌مِينَ ﴿27﴾ وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِن بَعْدِهِ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ ﴿28﴾ إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ ﴿29﴾}

Have you found that Allah mentioned the names of the three Messengers to his prophet? Or who their people were? Or the name of their town? Or the name of the man who believed them? But an anonymous story. Did not Allah destroy them by Saiha and caused the earth swallow them after they killed that man who believed

?The question here is where have the Messengers gone? What is the secret behind their disappearing
You will find the answer to this secret in their Cave, which is the threatening of the people of the town to the Messengers that if they do not stop asking people to worship Allah and do not return to their religion (the religion of the people of the town) they will be stoned. As they said
They (people of the town) said: 'For us, we see an evil omen from you: if you cease not, we will surely stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us''

{قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْ‌نَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْ‌جُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿18﴾}

That was the reason for the people of the Cave to disappear in their Cave. That is why the elder Messenger of them, who the young Messengers believed, and made them his ministers, and made them partner in his Message, said to his two young ministers

Send one of you with this paper money of yours to the town, and let him find out which is the good lawful food, and bring some of that to you. And let him be careful and let no man know about you
''For, if they come to know of you, they will stone you (to death) or turn you back to their religion, and in that case you will never be successful''.) (Surah18-Verses:19-20

{فَابْعَثُوا أَحَدَكُم بِوَرِ‌قِكُمْ هَـٰذِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَنظُرْ‌ أَيُّهَا أَزْكَىٰ طَعَامًا فَلْيَأْتِكُم بِرِ‌زْقٍ مِّنْهُ وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ وَلَا يُشْعِرَ‌نَّ بِكُمْ أَحَدًا ﴿19﴾ إِنَّهُمْ إِن يَظْهَرُ‌وا عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْ‌جُمُوكُمْ أَوْ يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِي مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَن تُفْلِحُوا إِذًا أَبَدًا ﴿20﴾}

They are all from one family and lived in the same house
:Allah said
(((Some will say they are three, their dog being the fourth among them)))
(Surah18-Verse 22)
{سَيَقُولُونَ ثَلَاثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ}

And this was not said at that time when The Holy Qur'an was sent down from Allah, because it is only Imam Al-Mahdi and who supports him are supposed to reveal this truth to people. For that Allah did not comment on it being guessing the unseen

But what was said by the people of Scripture and those who argued about the affair of the people of the Cave, was guessing the unseen
(((… and (others) say they are five, their dog being the sixth guessing the unseen; (yet others) say they are seven, their dog being the eighth. Say (O Mohammad) : ''My Lord knows best their number, He knows them to be a few''. So debate not (about their number) except with the clear proof (which We have revealed to you). And consult not any of them (people of Scripture – Jews and Christians) about (the affair of) the people of the Cave.))) (22) (Surah 18: verse22

{…وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلا قَلِيلٌ فَلا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلا مِرَاء ظَاهِرًا ولا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا}

Peace be upon all Messengers of Allah, and all praises and thanks be to Allah The Lord of that that exists
